Annotation Brno agglomeration or more precisely Brno daily urban system is impacted on suburbanization, similarly to Prague metropolitan area, but in smaller criterion. Suburbanization expessions proved to be strongly from 1990 onwards, has escalated nowadays and hasn't been finished yet. Interaction between core and hinterland which results in suburbanization processes are one of the basic preconditions for delimitation and identification of such region. The contribution is related to delimitation of Brno suburban area outside the city borders on the basis of selected criterions.
